This is actually the first time I made something out of suede, and I have to say, it’s not that easy. Working with suede or leather is a very precise task, you’ll be able to see every flaw. Once you’ve stitched it, there is no way back. You have to do it right the first time otherwise you’ll end up with little holes in your material. Knowing that, I decided to keep it simple. A crop top with fringes on the backside. Piece of cake. Not really.. I cut the fringes with a craft knife, that requires a lot of patience (which I’m not always capable of) but it all worked out. As you can see on the pictures, I’ve styled it with a felt hat and a stretch skirt (the skirt is an upcycle project I’ll post about soon) to give it that bohemian kind of look. Definitely getting excited for spring/summer with this outfit!
